• We are the only daycare in Seattle with an indoor heated pool and underwater treadmill. Daycare dogs can participate in a variety of water exercise programs at a significant discount.


• One stop shopping. You can combine daycare with a warm-water exercise program. This is especially nice for dogs who can benefit from low-impact water exercise or just love to swim.


• We provide a smaller, homey atmosphere, caring for about 25 dogs. This environment is great for dogs who otherwise might find a larger higher-energy daycare too stressful.


• Our 2,000 sq. ft. outdoor play area is the largest in Seattle.


• We have a separate play area for small dogs


• We have private suites to care for dogs with special needs. They are physically and visually separated from the main play room. The suites are closely monitored so your dog can be well cared-for in a quiet environment. This is a great set-up for dogs that are elderly, need more private space, or are recovering from illness or injury.


• Our rubber, non-slip safety flooring is 1/2 inch thick throughout the facility and is easy on your dog's joints.

• One hour group swim included at no additional cost for those attending daycare on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
• If you do not want your dog swimming on a particular day, please notify us at time of check-in.
• Dogs are not allowed to swim if they have any open wounds or other conditions that swimming would exacerbate.
• If you want your dog to swim on Tuesdays or Thursdays, there is an additional charge of $15 for 1 hour group swim or $25 for 30 minute private swim (if available).
• Dogs must pass a swim competency test and demonstrate good canine citizenship in the pool prior to being allowed to participate in group swim.
• We reserve the right to remove your dog from swim camp if we determine that continuing participation would be harmful to your dog, other dogs or staff.
• No multiple dog discounts for Swim Camp. No refunds if pool is down for routine maintenance.
• Join us on Saturday for a 1 hour group swim for $15.

• Be well socialized and non-aggressive to other dogs and people in order to participate in group daycare
  

• Be spayed or neutered
  

• Be current on all vaccinations, including rabies, DHLPP and bordetella (kennel cough); we also accept titers
  

• Have had a recent negative fecal exam (for parasites, worms, and giardia) within the last 30 days
  

• Be flea-free and be on a monthly flea preventative program
  

• Not be an excessive barker
  

• And, not have had any communicable diseases within the last 30 days

When your dog meets the above requirements or will by the time of your introductory visit, then take the following steps:

• Complete the Daycare & Boarding Application and send it to SpawZ via email, snail mail or deliver in person.

• Once your application is reviewed, we will call and set up an appointment for an introductory visit. This is a "Getting To Know You" meeting to see if SpawZ is the right match for you and your dog

"Getting to Know You" Introductory Visit:

• You must have submitted the Veterinarian Health Form prior to our meeting.

• You will bring your dog in for a short visit and general temperament evaluation (by appointment).
